What We Do

At the We Win As One Foundation, we believe unity is more than a message — it’s a catalyst for leadership. We sponsor competitions and scholarships that challenge students to demonstrate real acts of unity, compassion, and community impact. When one young leader rises, the ripple effect can transform schools, neighborhoods, and even culture itself. We’re building a movement with partners who believe teamwork is power and that unity can be the next great force for good in America.

In addition to student leadership initiatives, we support community programs focused on opportunity, and access for those facing significant challenges. Together, we win as one.

Who we are

We Win as One Foundation, Inc. is registered as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. The WWOF’s tax identification number is 82-3024502.

Founded and governed as a private family foundation, WWOF was established in 2017 by Fawad Ahmed, MD (President), Aisha Qarni (Treasurer), and Shazia Akbar (Secretary).

The We Win as One Foundation provides 4 year college scholarships annually to three graduating seniors from Maynard Evans High School in Orlando, Florida who make positive impact in their community. Our 2025-26 contest is: Leaders Creating Change. In a video, contestants will highlight how they use kindness, respect, perseverance, integrity or unity to make a real difference as a student leader. Mentorship and a short film with a celebrity athlete are the highlights. For further information, please click here.
